Welcome to Animate, the animated GIF image archive. These animations are some of our favourites that we have accumulated over the years. They are provided here free for you to view and may be incorporate in to your own web sites. Each file in this archive is a fully animated gif image. Due to the size of some of these files, and to speed up download times only one example animation from our collection is on show in it's animated form. All other images are shown as a single still from the animation file.

All of the animation files are stored in zip format to save space. To download an animation, right click on the relevant still image below and save select save this file to disk, making note of the location where you store the file. Each Animations Archive page also has contains a master zip file you can download that contains all the animations shown on that page. You will then need an unzip program capable of un-compressing zip format files.
